During two days, March 26th and April 16th, 2015 researchers and clinicians from Karolinska Institutet, Mando and CSEM visited the school IEGS. The aim was, with the students help, to validate the sensors developed within the SPLENDID project. The students gave their opinions about the usability of the chewing sensor, mobile application and how they felt about using the Mandometer during lunch at school. During the last session, a proximity study was set up with the aim to investigate if you eat less or more snack depending of the distance. The students were very enthusiastic about the new sensor technique.
