The overall progress of SPLENDID was reviewed by the European Commission during the first annual review in Brussels, on the 27th of November. The project officer, three reviewers as well as representatives from all partners were present. The consortium presented the work accomplished and how the goals of the first year have been achieved. The live demonstrations of the chewing sensors, the mobile and web applications clearly illustrated how the system will be used during the upcoming pilots. The reviewers were very enthusiastic about the project progress and were fully satisfied with the achieved results.
